When the impulse ceases, the strike is mechanically maintained in an open state until the door is opened, and the strike locks automatically when the door is closed. The low-current coil has a low current consumption of 280mA at 12V DC and 250mA at 12V AC. The device operates over a wide supply voltage range between 10-24V AC/DC.
The electric strike works with doorphone and video doorphone systems.
