The surface-mounted Heavy-duty IP68 junction box is a universal solution for protecting and connecting cables, perfect for indoor use in garages, houses, offices, as well as for outdoor use in gardens. The box facilitates to run cables and cover their connections in order to provide safety of use. It is made of durable thermoplastic material (PC/PA66) which is known for its high resistance to UV radiation as well as to impacts (IK09). High ingress protection rate of IP68 guarantees full protection against dust as well as against permanent submersion in water. The black housing (RAL 9005) is equipped with two screw cable glands with a threat and M20 seal (2x 7-12 mm), which enable to run cable with 7 - 12 mm cross section, and as many as four M16 glands (1x 5-10 mm). Additionally, the box has 2x3 wire double-sided connector with a cross section of 0,75-4 mm2, which facilitates easy installation and ensures solid cable connections, and a classic screw connector. The possibility of mounting it in the ground as well as its flame-retardant housing (UL94 V2 class) increase the universality of the product’s application.
The box is rectangular and measures 82x69x39 mm.
